So, it seems that one of my favorite Firefox Addon, Adsense Notifier, which allows you to display your Adsense earnings on the firefox statusbar has stopped working correctly.
Although it still gathers how many impressions are served, the rest such as Clicks, CTR, CPM, Earnings and RPC are all showing 0. It has been going on for almost a week since I started noticing about this problem, and some people are saying that it has not been working for a month now. Continue reading
If you are a publisher using Google adsense to monetize your site, you may have the occassion of seeing irrelevant or totally useless ads that leads to pages that sucks and deceiving. I have been asked this question again and again recently. Be it my mum and dad, brother and sister, and even my girlfriend.
Can someone really earn a living online? Yes, you can and I’ve met and seen people doing this. Some people started small and work their way up while some owns a network a sites using different monetization methods to pull in a good amount of money every day.
It’s 28 December 2007. A date worth remembering. If there was a day to set a new year resolution for 2008, it’s today.
What are my goals for 2008
1. Learn affiliate marketing, take action, work hard, test, fail and try again.
2. Energize my mental thoughts and physical power to ensure my goals are attained.
3. Perform professionally in both my full time job and part time on my network of websites, and earn enough in my online websites to quit my day job.
4. Earn 10K USD in a single month in any calendar month in 2008. (Yes, I know it’s peanuts compared to the super affiliates)
5. Strealine my work processes and reach out for help when I needed it.
6. Do what I do do best, build a team and outsource the rest.
Did you notice that 28 and 2008 have something similar. In chinese, or in Cantonese to be exact, 2 can be pronounced as 易(easy) and 8 is often pronounced by chinese as 发(prosperous). So, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking, I sure hope next year 2008 will be a prosperous year for me.
Enough talking. I’m taking action.
Seems like the whole world is crazy about widgets. Every single Web 2.0 sites, online media, social websites, shopping comparison sites who wants to go viral and provide that extra functionality and WOW factor to their users or technology adaptors just need to have one built. Paypal, probably the most popular online payment processing party, is joining the party as well.
You can create your own online store with the PayPal storefront, upload products, set prices, and start selling on your website or blog. It features quick store setup, fast browsing, fast checkout, and most important of all a simple payment processing.
An interesting note is that it’s currently still unavailable for use for Myspace.
And if you are into business, you should signup an account to accept credit card payments. I’m sure many people will be making good use of this widget and earn some money online pretty soon.
If you are an international affiliate, filling tax froms is quite a hassle especially when you are not sure which one you should be filling in. But most of the affiliate networks such as CJ and Linkshare requires you to fill in one.

Beginning January 1, 2007, Amazon Associates payments will be calculated monthly instead of quarterly, paid approximately 60 days after the end of each month. For example, referral fees you earn in January will be paid at the end of March, and payment of referral fees earned in February will be paid at the end of April.
Looking back to those days when you were a kid, did you wished you had done something different in terms of making money to support yourself? I certainly do. Let’s face it, kids will grow up one day. IMHO, it’s better for them to start learning to earn money, investing, and managing their time and resources while they are young. I’ve collected a few ideas online and think they are indeed feasible and can be a profitable venture for kids nowadays. Continue reading
