Sell ads on your website using these wordpress plugins, cut out the middlemen and keep 100% of the revenue. Sounds really good doesn’t it?
These wordpress plugins such as WP-Bankroll and OIOPublisher are certainly hitting it big and can cause some serious threats to online link exchange and reviews brokers such as text-link-ads, sponsoredreviews and payperpost.
For the meantime, OIOPublisher seems to enjoy more sunshine and used by several big time bloggers and affiliates to sell ads and reviews on their sites.
Have fun counting more money then to share it with dodgy middlemen.
I am afraid that my blog is not going to get many offers since my PR dropped from 4 to 0.
I think it is a good idea to sell directly. I wish advertisers would use this system.
Keep on working hard to increase your traffic, popularity, credibility and readership. I’ve seen other sites with low page ranks selling direct links before, but they had a trgetted niche to start off with.
Selling dicrectly can be a trouble especially for new blogs as no ones knows about the blog yet and advertisers can’t find you. That’s where the middlemen/networks are good at: they create a platform where advertisers and publishers can connect.
