May 2008 Google Adsense Earnings Up 186 Percent

It wasn’t until April 2008 that this blog started to pick up some trafic from searh engines. And so far May 2008 has been the best month, traffic wise and earnings wise.
Traffic
What can I say about this kind of traffic increase? Not much, but improving.
Earnings
No 4 or 5 digits and any screenshots to show yet, but Google Adsense revenue for this blog did improve by 186 percent on May 2008. That’s a huge increase in terms of percentage (per month), and if I can keep up with that every month, who knows what will happen next.
Conclusion
1. Traffic source were mostly linkbacks from other sites and search engines. Traffic increase were due to some tweaks in SEO and keywords research. Content and networking is still king no matter what else you choose to believe in.
2. Google adsense is currently the sole revenue and bread winner for this blog. The next phase would be to try out other advertising networks and sell links directly to keep more of the profit.

great information. As I recently wrote, I have noticed a decline in the CTR of my adsense ads despite an increase in clicks.
if that’s the case, your visitors+traffic+clicks has increased but that doesn’t necessarily means that ctr will increase since not every new visitor will click.
