This video demonstrates what looks like a “touchable” sphere from Microsoft which allows you to drag photos around, hide, expand and shrink them. The expand and shrink action reminds me of how Apple do that for iPhone.
The challenge and achievement here is probably the fact that all touchable screens are currently flat. Being able to do drag and drop intelligently on a sphere means that there are more to come for consumer technologies.
