Canadian RIAA Shuts Down Torrent Tracker Site Demonoid

demonoid logoThe CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association) has targetted Demoioind this time and currenty it’s still unsure how the owners of Demonoid will react. Their web hosting company has chose to favor the CRIA and took the website down.

What is left, however, is just a plain message:

“The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.”

Toll Is Killing West Malaysians

Is there really anything that can be done to lower toll in Malaysia, espeically in the West Malaysia? I was born in east Malaysia (Sabah) and haven’t really find any toll here before. I can’t even find it in Australia or in United states as well. Is this kind of like Malaysia’s way of saying that they have a good road system so they need to charge road toll?

NIB First Private Health Insurance Listed in ASX

NIB isn’t the largest private health insurance company in Australia, but it was definately the first to be be listed on ASX. According to gathered data, NIB controls only 7 percent of the market, while MBF and Medibank controls more than 43 percent in total. It’s rumored that both Medibank and MBF are planning to go public in 2008.
