Surefire Ways to Get Ban from Adsense
Posted in Google Adsense, Make Money Online on May 3, 2008
If you want to make sure that you earn the most amount of money from Adsense for a long time, make sure you don’t make these mistakes that some people are making just for the sake of making a few more bucks in the short term future.
1. Invalid Clicks
Google has a strong policy to prevent invalid clicks to keep their advertisers in Google Adwords happy. Don’t forget that Google guys are propably smarter then you so don’t even bother creating artificial traffic/clicks.
2. Own Clicks
Don’t ever click your own ads. Even if the ad actually interests you or you just wanna check out if the ads work (which is not a good excuse anyway).
3. Encouraging Clicks
Don’t ever use terms like “click my ads, visit my sponsors, make me rich, i will die if you don’t click those links”. However you may use the term “Sponsored Links”.
4. Contextual Ads
Google also doesn’t want competition from other networks which compete with it contextually. This term may be to prevent Yahoo’s search marketing ads which looks like Google adsense ads. If you decide to display other network’s ads on the same page with Google Adsense, just remember to check the terms of the network to see whether that’s allowed.
5. Illegal Content
As a rule of thumb, adult/porn/sex related materials, pills, casinos, hacks and cracks are illegal. You have to be careful with the material you publish because sharing a mp3 you like with your community may seem innocent to you but that is illegal (well, depending on where you host it and that country’s intellectual property law)
Of course, you can still risk it all and get ban from Adsense in the end and run around searching for other Adsense substitutes/alternatives.
