Apple announced earlier this month a next-generation 3G iPhone would be launched in Australia on July 11. Optus and Vodafone have confirmed they will sell the phone at launch, while Telstra will follow suit shortly afterwards.

But the quesstion is: Why isn’t iPhone available on 3?
Does 3 presume that iPhone won’t sell in Australia or what?
Or does Apple think that 3 is a network too small to even care about it?
