World of Warcraft VS Aion Online

The latest buzz in the world of MMORPG seems to be about Aion Online. I’ve seen some avid WoW gamers switched to Aion and said that it’s better at the “new world”. A quick google trends comparison will show you that WoW related search traffic has been heading down while Aion has grown almost exponentially (but traffic sources will mainly from Asian countries such as Taiwan, Philipines, China and Malaysia but certainly picking up in US and Canada). Does Aion has what it takes to be the next big thing?
Every game should be appreciated for being different even if its not the most popular. For me, Aion has a potential to be the next big thing when it comes in MMORPG but of course, World of warcraft still no. 1. Well, stop worrying about popularity, just enjoy your game of choice.
