Yahoo Answers VS Wiki Answers
Posted in Tech News on Jun 3, 2008
Here’s how I feel about Yahoo Answers and Wiki Answers, the two so called online communities where you can ask questions and let other people answer them for you.
Yahoo Answers
Yahoo Answer is no doubt the winner. Large user base. Active community. It just can’t be beaten. Even Google Answers had to make a bow years ago due to the fact that they are not getting enough coverage and exposure as Yahoo Answers did and still does now.
Wiki Answers
Wiki Answers Feels more like an adsense arbitrage and keyword aggregator site more then a real active online community where there’s no real user interaction. The goal is to get traffic from search engine rather then answering questions. You call those answers? Who’s joking?
But do they care? They are probably more interested to laugh their way to the bank.
