So I have decided to get an immigration agent to help me handle my PR application and hope that it can be done nicely. I’m currently holding a temporary long stay busines visa (457) and will be applying for an offshore skill migration visa (175). For the coming months, I’ll update this post to record my experiences and road to getting my PR.

VMWare Virtual Machine File Extensions Explanation
There are so many times when you look at a virtual machine folder and wonder what .nvram, .vmdk, .vmem, .vmss files really mean.
It isn’t essential that you have to know it now and you probably don’t care till you have a corrupted vmware disk image.
But if you’re interested, here’s a table where VMWare explains what each files are for.
Free Home Loan Mortgage Grant Money
The Australian government has now approved a new first home buyer incentive whereby new first home buyer who purchases an old house will get 14 thousand ($AUSD 14K) or 21 thousand ($AUSD 21K) for those who purchases a newly built home.
This obviosuly sounds like a good news for first home buyers as that’s potentially free money from the federal government. Adding that on top to any mortgage lending could potentially get you enough money to pay off a down payment deposit plus legal paperworks to buy a new home.
How To Save Lost and Corrupted VMWare VMX and VMDK Files
It’s not the first time today that I’ve faced this situtation where I started up my vmware virutal machine and it tells me that vmdk is corrupted. Just the other day, I tried to open another vmware image and I can’t even find the *.vmx file even though I was still using the virtual machine last night.

Bloodbath In Asia As Markets Freefall
There must be a lot of fear in the market currently as all major indexes around the world are seeing red. And I thought that the ASX would hold strong well above 4500 points, and see where it’s currently after this closing week – It’s below 4000! It was still as high as 6500 points when it reach its highest point ever back last year. Consumer confidence? Investor confidence? They all went out of the window.
When commodities price went free fall, so did ASX as we all know that Australia has been having a nice run due to demand for mining commodities from China. It will be really interesting to see where this will be leading us to over the coming weeks.
