Google Analytics Event Tracking
Just recieved an invitation from Google Analytics about their new event tracking feature. Event Tracking allows you to track interactions with Web 2.0 style content such as Flash, AJAX, Silverlight, social networking apps, etc. We recently made tracking Adobe Flash even easier with the release of a new Flash Tracking client library. It allows for much simpler tracking of Flash content with drag and drop functionality and an open source framework.

Social Security = Ponzi Scheme?
Different countries have different names of calling their own version of the social security, but it’s essentially the same thing no matter where you are. I was reading about the Bernard Madoff’s $USD50 Billion Ponzi Scheme and can see why some people are questioning (1 2) whether social security is as good as a ponzi scheme or even sustainable at all.

MSN Adcenter: No Support For Google Chrome and Opera Yet
I was a bit frustrated that you can’t login into Microsoft Adcenter using Google Chrome and Opera. So I wrote an email asking for help and got the following reply.
At this time adCenter is compatible with IE7 and Firefox. We are currently testing adCenter with various browsers, and as compatibility increases, we will announce this to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience that limited browser support may cause. If you would like to provide feedback there is a feedback link at the bottom right hand side of the adCenter user interface.

Guess we’ll be seeing less of these kind of stupid parked domains pages.
Image Processing with Mathematica
A really interesting feature introduced with Mathematica 7 was the addition of a suite of image processing functions from trivial to highly sophisticated. To apply them to images, you don’t need to use any form of import command or file name references. Just type the command you want to use, then drag and drop the image from your desktop or browser right into the input line.

Visual Studio: Immediate Debug Window Shortcut Menu Missing
I can’t find the shortcut menu to the immediate windows while trying to do some debugging in visual studio 2005 team edition. Funny thing I have the same installation on another computer and the shortcut menu was sitting right under Debug > Windows > Immediate
Long story short, the solution was to use the shortcut key CTRL+ALT+I to get to the immediate windows.
