Book Review: Outliers The Story of Success
I rarely write about books that I read. The other times I can remember was for The Dip, The World is Flat and 4 Hours Workweek.
But this is a rare exception and for a really good reason. Simply put, I’ve enjoyed reading Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. It really gave clear examples, stories and facts which cleared up up lots of myth about how and why certain people achieved success.

Australia Skills Shortage and 457 Visas Debate Continues
OK, so Australia has been getting lots of migrants coming into the country due to skills shortage and a big part thanks to the mining plus oil and gas boom. It looks like the economy is turning for the better and it was on several headlines that BHP, Rio Tinto plus other EPC firms who are concerned about skills shortage and saying government should be more lenient in approving new 457 visas. And then today, findings and some people are saying that migrants are eating up the locals’ piece of the pie and that the government should be more protective in ensuring that younger Australians generations can find their standing ground.
