It’s approaching the end of May 2008 and I’m gonna set some goals for next month June 2008.
1. Post 4 post daily
I have set this as a target and there will be no more excuse that I can’t do this. I will spend only 1 hour each day writing this 4 posts, so that takes me an average of 15 minutes to write 1 post.
2. Startup my 2 other sites
There are a few domains which I have held in hand untouched since last year and it’s time that they should be developed and get some content published in them, well, by some other people.
3. Web Development with MySQL and CakePHP
As poeple who had read my blog occassionally, I have been learning CakePHP and picking up MySQL database modelling lately. I have working experience mantaining websites and developing database application, and would like to move forward a bit further. This might take a while but I’m damn interested! If time permits, I’m also going to study for the MySQL developer certification.
4. My Full Time Job
There will be a major project handover during June to my company’s client. My team and I will have to dedicate and cooperate delicately to make sure this get completed successfully. No more casual surfing in the office.
5. Goto Gym or swimming weekly
Have to admit that my lifestyle currently is not very healthy. Weekends are usually spent eating outside, shopping, watching movies and occassionally in pubs. I will commit to go swimming or Gym at least once a week for June 2008.
6. Tax Return Time
Argh, not sure what the new tax rule systems are. It just takes too much time for me to read them. I’ll let my tax accountant sort it out for me. I spent almost a month last year trying to do this by myself, reading and filling eTax, but stop at the “submit” button since there were some stuffs which I really wasn’t sure. Fortunately enough, I got my tax accountant to do it, and I got back 2 times more compared to what I would had get back if were to do it by myself.
