OpenOffice.org product is a multi-platform office productivity suite. It includes the key desktop applications, such as a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager, and drawing program, with a user interface and feature set similar to other office suites.
New Features in version 3.0 includes Personal Information Manager (PIM) PDF import into Draw (to maintain correct layout of the original PDF), Web 2.0 support for weblogs and wikis, Office 2007 OOXML document import filter, Support for Mac OS X Aqua platform, Redesigned, more modern GUI., Extensions, to add third party functionality etc.
