Windows 7 is now available for download at Technet and MSDN. As usual, the latest Windows 7 operating system has also been shared on major torrent sites so if you’re not one of those lucky ones who have a Technet or MSDN subscription (released on August 6), you know where to search for.

I’m currently downloading Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and will write something up about my experience in upgrading from Windows Vista to 7, plus testing and running it. My plan would be to install it on a virtual machine (VM) before upgrading my local machine from Windows Vista to Windows 7. If all goes well according to plan, I will then upgrade my laptop from XP to 7 as well (according to Microsoft, upgrading from Vista is easy as 1-2-3 while upgrading from XP will take more work).
Meanwhile, if you’re keen on upgrading vista, don’t forget to buy the windows vista to 7 upgrade package today for a discount price (while offers last).
