Personal Experience with McAfee Software
I found that McAfee AntiVirus was installed on my new Dell laptop by default when it was sent to my doorsteps. It was a free trial version which eventually expired. I didn’t buy the full version or renew the license whatsoever and just uninstall it. I’m sure it’s a nice piece of software, but I had other choices.
McAfee owns SiteAdvisor. There was a time when Yahoo was using SiteAdvisor (maybe it still do?) to advise people of potentially harmful websites when people do a search query in Yahoo Search Engine. One of my blog post was unfortunately labelled as harmful. Maybe that was why I don’t buy McAfee software in general. Ha.
