West Australia boomed like crazy thanks to mining, and suddenly immigrants are coming in, rental, traffic, food and fuel prices are rising, and so is inflation. However, I can’t help it but have to admit that Perth is really kind of quiet and boring.
Perhaps this quote says it better than I do:
What’s wrong with Perth
1) It’s Boring!!
2) It’s got no character!!!
3) The airport is hopeless!!!
4) Shops close too early!!!
5) Public transport is non-existent.
6) Shopping centres are dull and lifeless.
The list could go on and on and on…….
Basically it’s a cemetery with streetlights
Have to agree for points 1-4, but ould disagree on 5 and 6 though. What’d you say?
perth-blows says
I agree one hundred percent…
I’m sixteen and the minute i turn 18 i plan to get the hell out of here
You may retort and say out beaches are fantastic..yes they are, but the rest of Australia’s beaches are just as good.
As a sixteen year old girl, these are my options for the weekend
1. shop in either freo, subi, clarmont or the city till only 5.30
2. go to the movies (lammmee)
3. party… which used to be good until i realised that i’d already met everyone in perth already…so i rarley bother
4. Go to the beach… yes the only good option
that is about it… thats all.. nothing else… and yes you may say its because i’m young and i haven’t really experienced perth.. but what… add clubbing and a car licence onto that and thats about how much better it gets…. it’s not like i’d h ave anywhere good to drive to either
