In Windows, I use the popular Filezilla FTP Client to upload stuffs onto my web host while doing web development. And while using my laptop which is running on Ubuntu, I notice that there isn’t a built-in FTP client with GUI interface but fortunately Filezilla can be installed on Ubuntu quite easily and here’s how.
Installing Filezilla FTP Client In Ubuntu
Open a terminal window and type sudo aptitude install filezilla
That’s it!
FileZilla is an FTP program for file uploading and downloading to and from your FTP site, server, or host. The program lets you transfer files and navigate among folders, Web sites, and your computer. This software enables you to perform multiple file transfers simultaneously.

My lecturer was talking about this concept just last week. I really should get again to operating on my engineering management assignment as opposed to reading through blogs – I despise homework assignments but I enjoy the net LOL
