Yes… you should have at least 2gb of ram to run Vista smooth and of course with a multi core processor. It is also very important that to maintain your background processes less than 50. That’s why even you have quad core with high end graphic your pc will still laggy because you’re running too much processes over there.
control your startup program to control your processes, by going run, type msconfig and hit enter. start tweaking over there. Caution: If you’re unsure what you’re doing, please do not continue the action and press cancel. Good luck for tweaking your vista.
