Funny English to Chinese Google Translation

This coudn’t be better! I’ve check my logs today and saw that someone was translating one of my post from english to chinese using Google Translation.

Before you read the translation, here’s the original post: What is PR examination?

I thought it woud be accurate, until I read the google translation (english to chinese) here

If you can read chinese, you would probably laugh after reading the first few sentences.

Let me break it down:

Thanks god everything was fine.
感谢上帝，一切良好

OK, this was perfectly fine.

The funniest part is actually this:

No use having the most powerful brain in the world and having all the money in the world when you don’t have a healthy body to enjoy your life with, right?
未使用过的最强大的大脑，在世界上具有清全部赃款，在世界上的时候，你不要有一个健康的身体来享受你的人生，对不对？

A correct counter translation of what the chinese version was trying to say is:
A most powerful brain which has never been used, when having all the money in the world, you don’t want to have a healthy body to enjoy your life with, right?

That almost laugh me to tears. And in chinese, that is:
那真是笑死我了!

I wonder if english to chinese translation will be a big thing this year as the olympics 2008 in China is getting close. With all due respect, try think of what will happen if those who can’t read chinese try to learn the language by translating english to chinese!
