Just a few chrome extensions that I use personally to increase my productivity.
LastPass
A must have, period. Never ever will I have to remember what password I use for different websites, they are all auto filled in now with LastPass. Also available for IE, Safari, Firefox and Opera.
Google Task ToDo List
I store some of my todos in iGoogle. With this tiny extension, I get to see a list of my todos easily.
Shareaholic
Just another great way to bookmark/share something I like.
Evernote
With Evernote, I clip “stuffs” which I would like to come back to, refer to, or do more research on.
SEOQuake
To those who don’t do SEO, I gave a short intro on how to use SEOQuake for SEO research.
Apart from the “to do list extension”, all of the above chrome extensions are also available as firefox extensions. What I do love about chrome when it comes to their extension architecture is that extensions can be installed and uninstalled instantly without a restart, unlike firefox which needs a restart everytime.
I’m still looking for chrome extension which:
– remembers the order of the last active tabs I’m on and allows you to cycle through them with CTRL+TAB (you know, like the way Opera allows me to). Some people refer to this as most recent used tabs (MRU).
Found Recent Tabs which does exactly what I need.
– hide referers (refering url)
So if you know any of these, please leave a comment. Oh, any recommendations of useful extensions are also welcomed.
