Imagine that you have lots of articles written on your wordpress blog containing links referring to external sources or interlinked to other places, directories or files in the same domain. You might not thought about it before, but it does happen when you get a broken link on your blog either because the external page has moved (and there wasn’t a redirect put into place) or that you might have simply included a typo while linking. How do you find and fix these invalid links?
The dumb way is to go through each post and check all links are still valid. Let’s face it, no one does that!
The smart way is to use a wordpress plugin – broken link checker which does all that hard work for you.
So as you can see above, there are still 51 broken links I have to fix on this blog and if you follow the link, it will tell you which post these broken links are on.
You can get wordpress broken link checker here.
